He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Thede and Hilda Thede; and his brothers, Robert, Wayne and Norman Thede.
He is survived by: his children, Bruce Thede (Johnny McGee) and Deb Fitzgerald (Steve); his grandchildren, Zach Fitzgerald (Lyndsy), Alex Fitzgerald (Alison), Laura Geiner (John) and Andy Paine (Esther); and his great grandchildren, Sidney Paine, Jax Greiner, Emmy Greiner, Ella Fitzniak and Henry Fitzniak.
