He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe and Catharyn; his brother Donald; and his brother-in-law Leland Hulme. He is survived by: his brother Dennis; his wife Bea; his children, Kim Thesing (Jeff) of Reinbeck, Rita Hummel (Mike) of Conrad and Rodney Greiner (Tammy) of Reinbeck; his grandchildren, Jeremy Thesing (Erica), Tara Thesing, Sarah Smith (Kyle), Jacob Hummel (Natalie), Jordan Greiner (Lauren) and Tanner Greiner; and his great grandchildren, Leila, Laken, Lael Thesing, Isaac and Asher Smith.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or Cedar Valley Hospice.
