He was predeceased by: his parents, John O. Paine and Marilyn Jean Paine (Shoemaker); and his stepparents, Roger Neebel and Donna Paine. He is survived by: his children, Andrew Paine (Esther) of Urbandale and Laura Greiner (John) of Reinbeck; his grandchildren, Sidney, Louis Paine, Emmy and Jax Greiner; and his siblings, Jim, Mark, Kelly and Sandy. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the hospice of donor's choice or the Cedar Bend Humane Society.
