With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ila Hoeppner of Reinbeck, Iowa, who passed away on February 16, 2021 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Toben and Irene Ehlers Toben; and her husband Vernon Hoeppner of Dinsdale. She is survived by: her children, Vicky St (Mike), Scott Hoeppner (Connie) of Reinbeck and Kent Hoeppner (Evelyn) of The Villages; her grandchildren, Tony Knaack, Casey Knaack (Michele) and Moriah Hoeppner; and her great grandchildren, Madison Knaack, Casey Knaack, Cael Knaack, Anthony Knaack and Mai Knaack.

“Ila thought a lot of my parents. She was much more than a good Reinbeck neighbor. For example she would take them to doctors visits or just visit and be good company. I was an only child 1000 miles from Reinbeck. I cannot find the words to express my thanks for such a friend as Ila was to my parents. She visited my family in Rochester, NY with my parents and I always visited her when I returned to Iowa. Ron Dreessen”
