We are sad to announce that on April 22, 2021, at the age of 76, Ervin Petersen of Reinbeck, Iowa passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ervin Petersen to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Petersen and Theresa Petersen (Girsch); and his daughter Mary Ann. He is survived by: his wife Jo Ann Petersen; his children, Paula Kelley, Kevin Petersen (Darci), Teresa Petersen (Chris MacDonnell) and Chris Petersen; his grandchildren, Jeremiah, Morgan, Lucas, Kelci, Liam and Finny; and his siblings, Vicki Slick (Jack), Ray Petersen (Connie) and Diana Sells (Tim). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p. m. until 7:00 p. m. on Sunday, April 25, 2021 at the Abels Funeral and Cremation Service, French-Hand Chapel in Reinbeck. (Family requests masks be worn at the visitation.) The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a. m. on Monday, April 26, 2021 at St. Gabriel Catholic Church in rural Reinbeck. (Masks are mandatory at the church.).
