He was predeceased by: his parents, George and Mabel (Mauer); his siblings, George, Gordon, Jon, Jacqui and Kathleen; his brother-in-law Jim Pierce; his niece Dana Schleisman; and his great-niece Lindsey Quirk.
He is survived by: his son William Kelly Brown of Waverly, IA.; his wife Sherris Brown; his daughter-in-law Connie Brown; his granddaughters, Courtney Martin (Beau) and Taylor Behrens (Jack); his great grandchildren, Jocelyn Martin and Ripley Martin; his sister Vicki; and his siblings-in-law, Jim Quirk, Phyllis Pierce, Jane and John Rowland. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces and their children.
