Darlene Plaehn Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Darlene Plaehn of Reinbeck, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 23, 2025 at the age of 94. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Darlene Plaehn to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Lampe and Louise Lampe (Dietrich); her husband Paul Plaehn; her son Kevin; her grandsons, Tom and Sam; and her siblings, Lester, Paul, Ernest Jr., W. Dean, LuElla, Estel and Georgia.
She is survived by: her children, Connie Plaehn of Minneapolis, MN, Cynthia Robinson of Lititz, PA and Kent Plaehn (Ann) of Mackinaw, IL; and her sister Carol Shaw (Bob) of Bondurant, IA. She is also survived by five grandchildren, four step grandchildren, four great grandchildren, thirteen step great grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Union Congregational United Church of Christ (225 Broad St, Reinbeck, IA 50669).
No gifts or flowers are necessary in Darlene's memory.
