She was predeceased by: her parents, Meinhardt Frieling and Bertha Frieling (Chew); and her brother Roger Frieling. She is survived by: her husband Robert "Bob" Witter; her granddaughter Pamela; her children, Chris Witter (Cindy) and Pamela Schafer (Rob); her grandchildren, Caroline Wissinger (Nick), Cydnee Witter, Todd Schafer (Haley Thumann), Brittany Jansen (Josiah) and Austin Schafer; and her great grandchildren, Hoyt, Lane and Easton. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
