He is survived by: his parents, Jay Means and Iva Mae Means (Sheeder) of Redfield; his children, Melanie Means of Norwalk and Derek Means of Norwalk; his siblings, Dan Means (Patty) of Baxter, Gwenda Neuroth (Troy) of Woodward and David Means (Melissa) of Bagley; and his close friend Wendy Spainhower of Greenfield. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
He was a longtime member of the American Quarter Horse Association and was involved more than 20 years in the American Heart Association.
