He is survived by: his wife Betty Young of Red Oak, Iowa; his children, Harvey Young (Jacqueline) of Newman Grove, Nebraska, Harold Young (Dory) of Columbus, Nebraska, Nancy Schnormeier (Alan) of Bellevue, Nebraska and Gloria Thompson (Norman) of Red Oak, Iowa; his great grandchildren, Macie Gilleland of Red Oak, Spike and Betty; his sisters, Shirley Baker of Clarinda and Virginia Peterson of Red Oak, Iowa; and his sisters-in-law, Ann Ribb of Springfield and Audrey Rhamy of Escondido, California. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and many friends.
