It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Wayne Echternach of Red Oak, Iowa, born in Lewis, Iowa, who passed away on December 25, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Archie Echternach and Enid Echternach (Conley); his wife Ruth Allen; and his siblings, Lavern, Dale, Elmer Echternach, Glendora Pool and Leota Garrison.

He is survived by: his daughter Lori Fennell (Richard) of Council Bluffs, IA; his stepchildren, Steve Vanderhoof and Susan Vanderhoof of Springfield, MO; his grandchildren, Shana Iles (Jake) of Clarinda, IA, Brandon Davis (Aubrey) of Omaha, NE, Anthony Davis (Christine) of Surprise, AZ, Aric Fennell (Wendy) of Olathe, KS, Todd Vanderhoof (Laurie) of Springfield, MO, Tara Raaphorst (Pete) of Springfield, MO and Jessica Weir of Springfield, MO; and his brother-in-law Donald Allen of Red Oak, IA. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and many friends.

All Covid 19 guidelines will be followed with social distancing and masks being required.
