It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sara Van Sant Peterson (Red Oak, Iowa), who passed away on September 24, 2018, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Linn and Grace Linn (Lloyd); her husbands, Carl and Dick; her siblings, Alice Lantz, Jack Linn and Darwin Linn; her brothers-in-law, Merrill Lantz and Marvin Focht; and her nephews, Rod Focht and Mark Van Sant.
She is survived by: her sister Barbara Focht of Red Oak, IA; her sister-in-law Martha Linn of Corning, IA; and her nieces and nephews, Kirk Lantz (Karla) of Stanton, IA, Leland Lantz (Marcia) of Anaheim, CA, Patty McPherren (Randy) of Unionville, IA, Maggie Lee (Tom) of Eddyville, IA, Jeff Focht (Nora) of Omaha, NE, Sue Reynolds (Denny) of Griswold, IA, Emily Lundberg of Huxley, IA and Jay DeYoung of Essex, IA. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
