He was predeceased by: his parents, Lola Mamie Briggs and Raymond Harold Stoddard; his wife Laura; his brothers, Jack Clayton and Darold; his sister-in-law Sally; his son-in-law Spencer Barrett; and his granddaughter Lindsey Stoddard.
He is survived by: his children, Denise Barrett, Beth Collins (Dale), Ivan Stoddard (Sherri), Reed Stoddard and Grant Stoddard (KayLyn); his brother Wayne Stoddard; and his siblings-in-law, JoAnn Lasley and Glen Hawkins. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
