He is survived by: his wife Joanne Nelson of Red Oak, IA; his sons, Steve Nelson (Dana) of Urbandale, IA, Mark Nelson (Laurie) of Prole, IA and Chris Nelson (Cathy) of Atlantic, IA; his grandchildren, Greg Nelson (Alyssa), Ryan Nelson (Emily), Rachel Powell (Jacob), Kelsey Nelson, Jessica Evans (Nate), Madison King (Garrett), Ben Nelson (Bre) and Kyle Nelson (Grace); and his great grandchildren, Cambryn, Case, Drake, Meyer, Callen, Emery, Elliott, Samuel, Aidan, Elouise and Elaina. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
