She was predeceased by: her parents, Stevens Diehl and Lenora "Alice" Diehl (Asman); her husband Ed Connell; her son Steve Connell; her brothers, Wayne, Scott, Elwin and Gilbert Diehl; and her grandsons, Brandon Link and David Connell.
She is survived by: her daughters, Carmen Link of Red Oak and Susan Brown (Steve) of Henderson, IA; her grandchildren, Jason Connell (Becky) of Red Oak, Shanda Husz (Ryan) of Macedonia, IA and Londa Straw (Richard) of Red Oak; her great grandchildren, Ryker Connell, Sydney Connell, Michael Husz, Nicholas Husz, Breanna Oliva, Christian Straw and Dustin Straw; her great great grandchildren, Sophia and Axton; her sister Carolyn Reubenking of Red Oak; and her nieces and nephews, Wendell Ossman (Deb) of Henderson, IA, Connie McCormick (Joe) of Red Oak, Cheryle Wall of Henderson, IA and Rodney Diehl of Russellville, TN. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
Memorials are suggested to the Faith Community Church or the Red Oak Volunteer Fire and Rescue Association.
