She is survived by: her children, Dennis Schmid (Kay) of Des Moines, Dianne Melendez (Angel) of Waukee, David Schmid (Jackie) of Red Oak, Tim Schmid (Charla) of Red Oak and Teresa Wadhams (Mark) of Pengilly; her grandchildren, Tony Schmid (Lisa) of Des Moines, Krista Douglas of Des Moines, Tammi Parkhurst (Tony) of Winterset, Dominic Melendez (Shilo) of Valdosta and Andrea Melendez of Ft; her husband Corey of Winterset; her sister Linda Wankum of McPherson; and also, Angela Raffensberger of Omaha, Aaron Schmid (Lisa) of Red Oak, Emily Schmid of Urbandale and Katie O'Neal (Justin) of Norwalk.
