It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kelly Stites of Red Oak, Iowa, born in Omaha, Nebraska, who passed away on December 31, 2024, at the age of 49, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Jon Stites; and his grandparents, Leonard, Dolores Branecki, Grace, Orville Stites, Clarence and Irene Pelzer.
He is survived by: his mother Linda Stites (Rider) of Windsor, CO; his daughters, Kennedy and Maizey Stites of Stanton, IA; his stepmother Diane Stites of Omaha, NE; his aunts, Janet Kennedy (George) of Santa Cruz, CA and Susan Murphy (Mike) of Colorado; his uncle Doug Branecki (Rena) of Stockton, MO; and his cousins, Kyle Branecki of Omaha, NE, Sofia Ormsbee of Colorado and Nicholas Ormsbee of Colorado. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel, Inc. (1995 G Ave, Red Oak, IA 51566).
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Kennedy and Maizey Stites.
