She is survived by: her husband Paul Vandrey of Red Oak, IA; her children, Jamey Acosta of Chino, CA, Amber Duncan of Omaha, NE, Jimmy Schneider of Omaha, NE and Anna Vandrey (Pacey Bingham) of Red Oak, IA; her grandchildren, Jaden, Shea Acosta, Wesley and Gabbie Schneider; her great grandchildren, William and Wynter Bingham; her stepchildren, Brenda Carlson of Council Bluffs, IA, Brandon Vandrey (Emily) of Omaha, NE and Brian Vandrey of St. Joseph, MO; her stepgrandchildren, Zachary, Bryce, Wyatt, Kristian, Asa and Brianna; and her sisters-in-law, Valerie Vandrey of Grimes, CA and Linda Blackburn (Mark) of Red Oak, IA. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the LeRette Funeral Chapel, Inc. (1995 G Ave, Red Oak, IA 51566). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First Covenant Church (207 E Hammond St, Red Oak, IA 51566).
Memorials are suggested to the Christ's Cupboard Food Pantry or the Kathy Vandrey Scholarship at the YMCA.
