She was predeceased by: her father Herbert; her husband Norman; and her siblings-in-law, Eleanor Bjorkquist, Allen Nelson, Nadine Liljedahl and Lois Gilman.
She is survived by: her sons, Steve Nelson (Dana) of Urbandale, IA, Mark Nelson (Laurie) of Prole, IA and Chris Nelson (Cathy) of Atlantic, IA; her grandchildren, Greg Nelson (Alyssa), Ryan Nelson (Emily), Rachel Powell (Jacob), Kelsey Nelson, Jessica Evans (Nate), Madison King (Garrett), Ben Nelson (Bre) and Kyle Nelson (Grace); her great grandchildren, Cambryn, Case, Drake, Meyer, Callen, Emery, Elliott, Samuel, Aidan, Elouise and Elaina; and her brother David Bjorkquist of Minneapolis, MN. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
