James V. Buckley Obituary
James V. Buckley, age 70, of Red Oak, Iowa passed away, Wednesday, December 4, 2002 at the U.S.A. Healthcare Center in Urbandale, Iowa. James Vernon Buckley was born January 3, 1932 in Omaha, Nebraska the son of Fred and Geraldine (Buckley) Fox. He moved to Red Oak as a small child and lived all of his life in Red Oak until going to the nursing home.
He worked for Oakland Meat Packing Plant, for Wally Jones on the Garbage Route, and Bill Milgrove on the Garbage Route. He loved to play the guitar with the gang at the Rainbow. James was preceded in death by a sister: Patricia Fox; and his parents. Survivors include 2 daughters: Lorisa Schlup and special friend Tony Ranner of Bedford, Iowa; and Michelle Buckley of Glenwood, Iowa; grandchildren: Jameson, Stuart, and Nathaniel Schlup; and Virginia Schlup and her fiancé Robert Best; great grandchildren: Cameron Best; Halee, William, and Mikah Schlup; special family: Wally and Louise Jones; Junior Jones and their families; step-sisters: Mary Ann; Marian Ruth; and Virginia; step-brothers: Fred, Jr.; and Clarence; and many other relatives and friends.
There will be visitation with the family from 10-11 AM Wednesday, December 11, 2002 at the Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel. Memorials are suggested to the family.
