It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Irene Candy of Red Oak, Iowa, born in Harrison, Arkansas, who passed away on January 13, 2025, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Lee and Ethel Lee (Philipburger); her former husband John Anderson; her husband Jim Candy; her daughter Lynda Lee Reddon; and her siblings, Audrey Sparks, Loyd Lee, Carl Lee and Loyal Lee.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Jerry Nelson, Jr. of Longview, WA, Sherrie Bourrette (Gary) of Red Oak, IA, Tomas Schlickeiser of Oregon and Rebecca Zuckmen (Joe) of Roseburg, OR; her great grandchildren, Prescilla Kirkpatrick of Maryville, MO, William Kirkpatrick (Amber) of Clarinda, IA, Samuel Kirkpatrick (Kourtnee) of Westboro, MO, Matthew Kirkpatrick (Sierra) of Trinidad, CO, Lexy Kerr of Roseburg, OR, Andrea Hilson (Matthew) and Jerry Nelson, III; and her great great grandchildren, Morgan, David Shaw, Baileigh Crouse, Rosealynn Kirkpatrick (Button), Ivan Kirkpatrick, Jayden Pucket, Autumn Pearson, Isaac Kirkpatrick, Elizabeth Kirkpatrick, Aiden Blake, Everett Kirkpatrick, Cecelia Kirkpatrick, Johnathon Kerr, Malakai Hilson and Nnyomi Hilson. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Faith Community Church (2701 N 8th St, Red Oak, IA 51566).
