She was predeceased by: her mother Mary L. Blackburn (Woodin); her granddaughter Maddison Jo Belt; and her brother-in-law Terry Briggs. She is survived by: her father Richard L. Blackburn of Red Oak, IA; her husband Ted Briggs of Red Oak, IA; her daughter Jessica Briggs of Red Oak, IA; her grandchildren, Denver Belt and Regan Mattingly; her siblings, Terry Blackburn (Karen) of Lincoln, NE, Rick Blackburn of Red Oak, IA and Cheryl Marsden (Scott) of Papillion, NE; and her siblings-in-law, Tim Briggs of Colorado, Tracy Adams (Mark) of Stanton, IA and Kris Becker (Larry) of Texas. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
