He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard W. Kruse and Evelyn P. Kruse (Jennings). He is survived by: his daughters, Andrea Rideout (Ron) of Tallahassee, FL and Lindsey Kruse of Creston, IA; his grandchildren, Cooper Rideout, Jackson Rideout and Karlie Kruse; his siblings, William Kruse (Kathleen) of Underwood, IA and Anna Mae Warnier (Pastor Paul) of Alcester, SD; and his close friend Vicki Cobb. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Sellergren-Lindell-DeMarce Funeral Home (509 N 6th St, Red Oak, IA 51566). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Mount Calvary Lutheran Church (107 S 5th Ave, Villisca, IA 50864). A burial was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Mount Hope Cemetery (13709 Redwood Ave, Mapleton, IA 51034).
