Ronald Lee Kohagen Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 25, 2024, at the age of 76, Ronald Lee Kohagen of Readlyn, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard John and Wilma Marie Kohagen (Doepke); his sisters, Carolyn Lohmann, Marlene Barnes and Shirley Kohagen; his parents-in-law, Elmer and Glenyce Bruns; and his brothers-in-law, Ronald Lohmann and James Bruns.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Lee Bruns; his children, Marcia Joerger (Jeff) of Denver and Gail Hull (Ryan) of Le Grand, Iowa; his grandchildren, Sam (Claire), Tessa, Jackson Joerger, Ellie and Sydney Hull; his great grandchild Tate Joerger; his siblings, Darrol Kohagen (Joan) of Sumner, Diane Rourke (Mark) of Fairbank, Virgil Kohagen (Tina) of Waterloo and Joel Kohagen of Readlyn, Iowa; and his sister-in-law Carole Bruns of Waverly, Iowa. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 at 9:30 AM at the Kaiser-Corson Funeral Home (205 Highland Ave, Readlyn, IA 50668). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Zion Lutheran Church-Readlyn (240 Elmer Ave, Readlyn, IA 50668).
