He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil Leisinger and Emma Leisinger (Beyer); his siblings, Harold, Robert Leisinger, Grace Zars, Darlene Teitje and Gladys Hesse; his children, Thomas Leisinger, Pamela and Julie; his great grandchild Zion Leisinger; and his siblings-in-law, Reinhardt Zars, Marvin Tietje, Arlin Hesse, Cliff Patrick, Leonard Huck, Herb Mock, Milton Hueber, Marlys Leisinger and Melba Huebner.
He is survived by: his wife Velda Leisinger of Waverly; his children, Terri Meister (Don) of Tripoli, Tammy Blasberg (Matt) of Waverly, Janelle Heine (John) of Waverly and Jonathan Leisinger (Toni) of Council Bluffs; his grandchildren, Joseph Heine, Kourtney Meister, Justin Heine (Aimee), Cody Meister, Keaton Leisinger (Sierra), Christopher Meister, Olivia Leisinger, James Heine (Jade), Cory Meister, Jessica Heine and Emma Leisinger; and his great grandchildren, Kamrie, Jackson, Jordyn, Nolan, Bentley and Eveley.
Memorials may be directed to the family, Cedar Valley Hospice, or St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Artesian.
