She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Kuethe and Leona Kuethe (Judas); her husband Orville Meier of Frederika; her sons, Steve and Tom; her brother Dale Kuethe; and her siblings-in-law, Harlan Heineman, Arnie Henn and Barb Kuethe.
She is survived by: her daughter Sherri Nieman (Eugene) of Nashua; her daughter-in-law Cathy Meier of Waterloo; her grandchildren, Adam Nieman (Liz) of Osage, Derek Nieman of Charles City, Travis Nieman (Abby) of Parkersburg, Chelsea Meier Lima Nobre (Fellipe Lima Nobre) of Queiroz and Emily Meier (Ian Hubrig) of Independence; her siblings, Judy Henn of Readlyn and Wayne Kuethe of Shell Rock; and her sister-in-law Grace Kuethe of Readlyn. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Readlyn Historical Society or the Readlyn Library.
