She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Allgood and Linna Allgood (Hall); her husband Wilbur Charles Risse; her sons, Jeffrey and Jay; her grandson Stacey Risse; her stepgranddaughter Theresa Stearns; her stepgreat-grandchild Hillary Strief; her son-in-law Jeff Casey; and also, Mary Alice and Betty Thompson (Swen).
She is survived by: her children, John Risse (Pam) of Fairbank, Joe Risse (Carolee) of Dunkerton, Jim Risse (Kathy) of Fairbank, Jerry Risse of Belvediere, IL, Judie Casey of Cedar Rapids and Jane Rissman of Waukon; and her close friends, Mike, Arlene Tiedt of Readlyn and Betty Bliss. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 7 step-grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; 12 step-great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; several beloved nieces & nephews.
Masks and social distancing are required for the service.
Memorials may be directed to Zion Lutheran Church or to St. Matthew's Lutheran Church, both in Readlyn.
