He is survived by: his former wife Deborah Burton; his wife Deb Fortsch of Readlyn; his children, Stephanie Rewerts (Shawn Schroeder) of Aplington, Susan Gilbert (Josh) of Waverly and Tony Mathis (Kammy) of Longview, Texas; his grandchildren, Jess, Josie, Destiny, Brooklyn, Lizzy, Carson, Cadie, Kassidy, Gio, Carter and Barrett; and his siblings, Connie Matthias (Scott) of Readlyn, Barry Fortsch (Lori) of Readlyn and Julie Leehey (Tim) of Waterloo.
Due to the COVID 19 Pandemic the services will be private and there will be no public visitation.
