She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Maude and Ferne Maude (Leversee); her husband Ellis Shook; her brother Robert; and her siblings-in-law, Al Niemann, Alvin Marken (Clemie) and Joan Williams (Charles).

She is survived by: her children, Ellis Shook Jr. (Lisa) of Dunkerton, Jeff Shook (Lori) of Tripoli, Dave Shook (Kathy) of Tripoli and Deb Leisinger (Clif) of Sumner; her sister Barb Weers (John) of Kansas City; her sisters-in-law, Audrey Niemann of Cedar Falls and Maxine; and her grandchild Waverly. She is also survived by twenty grandchildren, thirty-one great grandchildren.
