He is survived by: his former wife Linda Marie Hornstien; his wife Geralyn "Geri" Schmaltz of Raymond, IA; his children, Aimee Wolff of Hudson, IA, Jessica Schmaltz of Waterloo, IA, Jamie Knebel (Dan Taylor) of Independence, IA, Jodie Trebon (Todd) of Ankeny, IA and Jason Knebel (Marci) of Maquoketa, IA; his siblings, Michael Schmaltz, Mary Harrington (Harold) of Minot, ND, Frances Joramo (Greg) of Phoenix, AZ and Angela Olsen of Dilworth, MN.; his nephew Aaron Joramo; and his brother-in-law Steve Olsen. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren.
