She was predeceased by: her parents, Emil Joseph Versluis and Madeleine Marie Versluis (Waerenberg); her daughter Kristine Dauth; her granddaughter Katie Rose Metz; and her siblings, Robert Versluis, Ronald Versluis, Thomas Versluis, James Versluis, Frances Meier, Grace Fernau and Jean Thompson.
She is survived by: her former husband Norman Lyle Fernau; her sons, Steve Fernau (Margie) of Waterloo, IA, Dennis Fernau of Waterloo, IA, John Fernau of Sumner, IA and David Fernau of Waterloo, IA; her sisters, Jane Lickiss (Ron) of Oelwein, IA and Audrey Hahn of Oelwein, IA; and her son-in-law Duane Dauth of Jesup, IA. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 1 step-grandchild; 13 great grandchildren.
