He is survived by: his children, Monica Nicholas (Jerry) of Farragut, IA and Adam Wendland (Jennifer) of Thurman, IA; his grandchildren, Natalie, Reagan, Dale Nicholas, Brian, Tyler, Athena, Mindy and James Wendland; and his brother Glenn Wendland (Cheryl) of Iowa Falls, IA.
