He is survived by: his wife Linda (Thompson); his daughters, Tarra Carlson (Austin) of Story City and Jaimee Kernes (Jared) of Altoona; his grandchildren, Fiston, Evelyn Carlson and Skylar Kernes; his brother Jeff Norem (Patty) of Franklin, TN; and his siblings-in-law, Rob Thompson (April) of Watertown, WI, Karen Bassett of Gladbrook, IA and Marilyn Ingham (Ward) of Gladbrook, IA. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
