With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ida A. Haugen of Rake, Iowa, who passed away on June 29, 2023 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Benard "Ben" Rippentrop and Alice Rippentrop (Ites); her husband Duffy; her siblings, Ray, Alvie, Tom Rippentrop, Gen Davis, Onie Willner, Dorothy Willner and Ruthie Rippentrop; and her sons-in-law, Duane "Eno" Elwood and Stan Espeland.

She is survived by: her daughters, Colleen Danger (Doug) of Buffalo Center, IA, Donna Ryg (Mike) of Litchfield, MN, Susan Espeland of Albert Lea, MN, Diane Swearingen (Bill) of Thompson, IA and Judy Sell (Jim) of Joice, IA; her grandchildren, Lisa Olson, Brian "Butch" Elwood, Laurie Steffen, Michelle Defries, Steven Espeland, Jeffrey Espeland, Jodi Nordskog, Jay Swearingen and Katie Kaufman; her brother Bob Rippentrop; and her sister-in-law LaVon Rippentrop. She is also survived by 23 great grandchildren; seven great great grandchildren.
