He was predeceased by: his daughter-in-law Sue Ellwood. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Lee; his children, Miriam Skartvedt (Steve) of Story City, IA, Marcus Ellwood (Antoinette) of Tucson, AZ, Paul Ellwood of Tucson, AZ, Gary Ellwood (Stephanie) of Ankeny, IA, Kendall Ellwood of Radcliffe, IA and Teresa Brinkmeyer (Bruce) of Kansas City, MO; and his brothers, Mervin Ellwood (Fanchon) of Wilmer, MN and Alvern Ellwood (Barb) of Radcliffe, IA. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
