He is survived by: his wife Judy Fitzpatrick of Quimby, Iowa; his children, Marchell Heimgartner (James DeWane), Alan (Iris Heimgartner), Georgia, Terry (Connie Heimgartner) and Nicole Heimgartner (Thomas Mier); his grandchildren, Jason DeWane (Andrea), Matthew DeWane and Allison Neaveill (Tyler); his great grandchild Kennedy; his grandchildren, Liam DeWane (Ashley), Joshua Heimgartner, Megan Heimgartner and Virginia Bermudez; his great grandchild Serenity; his grandson George Bermudez (Ayla); his great grandchildren, Lyla, Audrey, George, Brandon Mier, Brock Mier and Jadrien Mier; his grandson Cole Mier; his brother Daryl Heimgartner (Jeanie); and his sisters-in-law, Norma Mattson (Matt) of Junction City and Emmie Fitzpatrick of Des Moines, Iowa..
