She is survived by: her husband David K. Nielsen; her children, Kent Nielsen (Sophia) of Brazoria, Texas and Ginger Nielsen of Brazoria, Texas; her grandchildren, Kathryn Nielsen, Victoria Nielsen and George Nielsen; her siblings, Russell Clark (Jane) of Galena, Missouri, Kay Thomsen (Lowell) of Galena, Missouri and Mary Johnson of Ida Grove, Iowa; and her siblings-in-law, Dale Hunwardsen of Anthon, Iowa and Betsy Clark of Washta, Iowa. She is also survived by Numerous nieces and nephews.
