We are sad to announce that on January 9, 2022, at the age of 77, Zelda Karen Powers of Quasqueton, Iowa, born in Waterloo, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, George J. Scott and Iris I. Scott (Kress); her son Steven Powers; and her siblings, Ines Rinard, Eldon and Thomas Scott.

She is survived by: her husband Harold Powers of Quasqueton, IA; her daughters, Teresa O'Connor (Todd) of Atkins, IA and Carrie Amthauer (BJay) of Quasqueton, IA; her granddaughters, Taylor Nickell (Drew) and Tara O'Connor; and her great grandchildren, Kinnick, Karlee and Kahne Nickell. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
