He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell W. Walthart and Della F. Walthart (LeVelle); and his brothers, Terry and Steven Walthart. He is survived by: his children, Angie Knipper (Dan) of Winthrop, IA, Tammy Naber (Bill) of Quasqueton, IA and Scott Walthart (Jenny Reuther) of Troy Mills, IA; his grandchildren, Garrett Tennyson, Rebecca Tennyson (Lucas Bates), Justin Voss, Kaylee Storr (Kanen), Brock Naber (Ashley Hanks) and Mason Walthart; his great grandchildren, Knoxley Storr, Hudson and Hayden Bates; his siblings, Dennis Walthart (Carol) of Colesburg, IA, Douglas Walthart (Julie) of Dundee, IA and DeeAnn O'Loughlin (Patrick) of Independence, IA; and his sister-in-law Linda Walthart of Independence, IA. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
