He was predeceased by: his father Herman Maas. He is survived by: his mother Dixie Maas of Cedar Rapids, IA; his children, Amber Maas (Jodi Schmidt) of Marion, IA and Andrew Maas (Halley) of Winthrop, IA; his grandchildren, Carson Schmidt, Adalyn, Brooklyn and Claire Maas; and his sister Deana Niemeier (Stan) of Walker, IA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
