It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Payne of Quasqueton, Iowa, born in Manchester, Iowa, who passed away on October 2, 2021, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Adlia R. Payne and Lillian M. Payne (Soukup); his son Adlia Payne; and his brothers, Adlia Jr. "Roy", Richard and Thomas Payne.
He is survived by: his wife Theresa Payne of Independence, IA; his son Scott Payne of Grinnell, IA; and his siblings, Don Payne (Janice) of Wilmer, MN, Mary Cerwick of Marion, IA and Doris Ohrt (Clayton) of Rowley, IA. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
