He is survived by: his children, Shanelle "Shani" Bonefas (Shawn Staley) of Cedar Rapids, IA, Jay Bonefas (Rachael) of Marion, IA, Paul Bonefas (Miranda McDoungh) of Cedar Rapids, IA and Cassie Bonefas of Des Moines, IA; his grandchildren, Bryce, Trevor Hepker, Ellie, Ethan Alexandra, Cade and Maelynn Bonefas; and his siblings, John Bonefas (Sue), Rosemary Gilson (Paul), Karen Emick (Kraig), Kay Delagardelle (Klem), Linda Hollenbeck (Ted), Connie Maynard (Steve), Betty Watson (Rick), Butch Bonefas (Jolene Christensen) and Diane Bonefas. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
