It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mike Garmon (Pulaski, Iowa), born in Bloomfield, Iowa, who passed away on May 30, 2018, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Deloris Garmon of Pulaski; his parent-in-law Daisey Rupe; his sister-in-law Cindy Strawhacker; and also Frank Rupe. He is survived by: his wife Dixie Garmon; his children, Lisa Welty (Keith) of Otis, Teresa Hart (David) of Mulvane, David Garmon (Shara) of Cordell, Crystal Sieck (Jon) of Toledo and Gary Garmon (Jesi) of Bloomfield; his sisters, Joy Mueller (Steve) of Winterhaven, Donna Smith (Richard) of Agency and Sandy Haines (Brett) of Bloomfield; and his siblings-in-law, Deb Frymoyer (Kim) of Pulaski, Terry Appenzeller, Candy Thaxton, Carla Strawhacker of Burlington, Doug Strawhacker of Vienna, Danny Rupe (Patty) of Ottumwa, Dave Rupe (Shari) of Ottumwa and Dean Rupe of Ottumwa. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
