He is survived by: his wife Ruth; his children, John Praska of Laredo, TX, Jim Praska (Lynn) of St. Paul, MN, Janice Hanson (Kurt) of Decorah, IA, Jane Proffit (Mike) of Jackson, WI and Judy Pentecost (John) of Waverly, IA; his grandchildren, Julia, Erika and Brandon Praska; and his children, Bethany, Tristan Hanson, Cole, Ian, Finn Proffit, Isabella, Emmett and Gevin Pentecost. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
