She was predeceased by: her parents, John Hruska and Frances Hruska (Pecinovsky); her children, Jerry Stika, Dale Stika and Denise Stika; and her sisters, Wilma Zajicek and Lucille Winters.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Cheville of Ames, IA, Helen Watson of Lebanon, MO, Michael Stika (Yvonne) of Madison, IN, Shirley Nelson (Stewart) of Ames, IA, Geralyn Smith (Fred) of Waukon, IA, Bob Stika (Colleen) of Cresco, IA and Ron Stika (Elaine) of Cresco, IA; her sister Betty Balik of Cresco, IA; her brother-in-law Art Stika (Rosie) of Decorah, IA; and her daughters-in-law, Mary Jane Stika of Catoosa, OK and Mercy Stika of Buckeye, AZ.. She is also survived by 24 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, Dorothy's family requests that memorials be made to Trinity Catholic School in Protivin or the Howard County Community Hospice.
