He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Taylor and Frances Taylor (Strnad); his wife Bea Berka; his son Allen; his in-laws, John and Lucy Berka; and his sister-in-law Arlene.
He is survived by: his children, Darrell of Seattle, WA, Harlan (Avis) of Sumner, IA and Lynelle Grube (Owen) of Kasson, MN; and his grandchildren, Zoie Taylor, Julie Kruse (Jordan) of Waverly, IA, Greg Grube (Wendy) of Andover, MN, Laurie Grube of Austin, TX, Amanda Hovey (Jason) of Preston, MN, Nick Taylor (Melissa) of Plainfield, IA and Tiffany Griffin (Chris) of Louisiana, MO. He is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren.
