She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Phares and Hazel Phares (Pierce); her former husband Edwin D. Carr; her son Lawrence "Beano" Carr; her grandchildren, Jennifer Brown and Jeramie Millhouse; her son-in-law Tony Ahlf; and her siblings, Russell, Delores, Tarry, Guy and Conrad.
She is survived by: her husband Chris; her pets, Missy and Beanie; her children, Lenard Carr of Walcott, Laurie Ellison (Donnie) of Centerville, Lila Aubuchon of Promise City, Lucinda Carr of Seymour, Louise "Dutsi" Allbee (Jay) of LeClaire and Libby Ahlf of LeClaire; and her siblings, Myron Phares of Princeton, Iowa, Helen Bright of South Dakota and Calvin. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.
