He was predeceased by: his parents, Grant Dean and Alice Elizabeth Dean (Ramberg); and his wife Patricia Ann Dean. He is survived by: his children, Vivian Pettengill (David), Brenda Smith, Maurice Dean (Diana) and Myron Dean (Lori); his grandchildren, Scott Smith, Jason Smith, Maxwell Hon, Tiffany Hon, Zach Pettengill (Megan), Issaac Pettengill (Carrie), Heather Vanderflught, Brandie Adair, Allison Reasoner (Travis), Christina Dean, Katie Dean, Sara Herd and Grant Dean (Samantha); and his sister Lucille Wilson. He is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren.
