He is survived by: his wife Cindy Dirks of Princeton, IA; his children, Sara Buxbaum (Don) of Davenport and Tom Atwood Jr. (Mary) of Camanche, IA; his grandchildren, John Buxbaum, Chloe Atwood, Thomas Atwood III, Dustin Buxbaum and Jamie Buxbaum; his great grandchildren, Bjorn Buxbaum and Frejya Buxbaum; and his siblings, Daisy Savage, Georgia Roberts of Davenport and Larry Atwood of Alabama.
