It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Pauline Brechler (Princeton, Iowa), born in McGregor, Iowa, who passed away on June 16, 2018, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Carroll Sr. and Irene Henkes, Sr. (Hultgren); her granddaughter Hannah Brechler; and her brother Loren. She is survived by: her husband Carl; her children, Janine Johnson (Roger) of Princeton, IA and Craig Brechler (Marcella) of Phoenix, AZ; her grandchildren, Jennifer McCracken (Tim), Jessica Whittier (Tyler), Roger M. Johnson (Angela), Nathan Johnson, Ellen Brechler, Evelyn Brechler and Phillipe Vincent; her great grandchildren, Samantha Johnson, Holly Johnson, Camryn McCracken, Haylee McCracken and Wynn Whittier; and her siblings, Joanna Dull of McGregor, Gerald Henkes (Linda) of McGregor, Bobby Henkes (Sue) of McGregor, Donna Oetzel (Skip), Bonnie Ferguson (Gary), Sandra Handgartner, Carroll Henkes, Jr (Jane), Cheryl Tippery (Rod), Lowell Henkes (Kathleen) and Todd Henkes (Tammy).
